SENSORY PROFILE
DESCRIPTION
The Specialty Bourbon Typica is a microlot coffee grown in Santiago Atitlán, Oaxaca, under the care of Wilfrido Martínez. From the very beginning, this coffee delivers a cup with distinctive character, where sweetness and acidity are perfectly balanced. From the first sip, it reveals a vibrant profile with a juicy sensation that lingers on the palate.
In this microlot, the Honey Process plays a key role in the final cup quality. By preserving part of the mucilage during drying, the natural sweetness of the coffee bean is enhanced, creating a smoother texture and a delicate syrupy mouthfeel. As a result, this Bourbon Typica coffee develops a fuller body while maintaining clarity and definition in its flavor notes.
Grown at 1,500 meters above sea level in Oaxaca, the Specialty Bourbon Typica achieves an excellent balance between ripeness and freshness. The bright acidity brings liveliness to the cup, while the sweetness recalls cane sugar. Together, these characteristics create a well-rounded and approachable specialty coffee experience.
